Supercross action returned for the 2024 Monster Energy AMA 250SX East championship in Foxborough, Massachusetts this past weekend (April 13, 2024) with Jalek Swoll earning eighth place for Triumph Racing.
With the championship having a four-week break while the 250SX West series resumed, the team used the opportunity to further refine the Triumph TF 250-X after an impressive start to the season. For rider Jalek Swoll, the 22-year old took the time to fully heal up from a physically-testing opening half of the season and continue his mission on earning a debut podium for Triumph.

The Gillette Stadium provided an amazing amphitheatre of action with a technically demanding layout. After the two qualifying sessions, Jalek placed 11th overall but was optimistic heading into the first gate drop of the night. Placing sixth in Heat 2 meant Swoll was down the order in terms of a gate pick for the Main Event.
What is becoming a trademark for riders on the Triumph TF 250-X, Swoll got a great launch out of the gate and almost a holeshot. After an intense first lap, the #33 was pushed down the order just outside the top 10. Swoll regrouped, using his experience to work the track and lap consistently to battle back into contention.
After 15 minutes and one extra lap under the floodlights, Swoll picked up a valuable 14 points with eighth place at the finish. The consistent work of the entire Triumph Racing team sees Jalek move up a place in the overall rankings to ninth, tied with Seth Hammaker on 72 points in eighth, in what is proving to be an intensely fought championship.
The 2024 Monster Energy AMA 250SX East championship returns for Round 7 of 9 with an East/West Showdown on April 20 at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jalek Swoll (#33)
“A tough day in the office as I really just haven’t felt like myself. But there are no excuses as everyone is working so hard at Triumph and in the team to give us a great bike. There’s no lack of motivation and we are capable of fighting for the podium at every round, so that’s what we need to do next time out in Nashville.”
Stephen ‘Scuba’ Westfall – Triumph Racing Team Manager (US):
“This championship has been fiercely competitive all season and tonight was no different, but the Triumph TF 250-X has shown again it can be competitive at different tracks and conditions. While it was an eventful night, I wouldn’t say it was a stellar result but we will regroup and come out swinging in Nashville.”
